Death Walks Amongst Us



Those who love and are loved

Feel the pain

As another finds peace

In their own time

We grieve for ourselves

And we grieve for our loss

But give thanks for the passing

Of the pain and confusion

Passing leaves a space

But it also leaves a mark

On others who were touched

By the presence of a soul

Memories will remain

Forever young and alive

Death is not the final chapter

It is simply a passing on.
