Dying light

March 29 2014 017

The light is dying

It’s moving on

Away from me I fear.

But always freedom

Must be given

The room it needs to grow.

We have no right

To hold it back

It is not ours to keep.

With tears in check

I watch it fade

And miss its passing on.

But still I’ll keep

The memory dear

I will not let it die.

Just a glimmer of the hope

Is hidden in my mind.

I am a woman with a mission: to live life to the fullest. I will not let an itty, bitty incurable disease stop me. It may slow me down but like a ship dragging an anchor, I'll get there eventually. Walk with me at www.butterflysand.com
