I wish there were a place

Where gentle flowers bloom

And of man no harmful trace

Where nature has some room

To sigh and rest and take a bow

Where one can still find peace

The need is there we need it now

Before our spirits cease

A gentle breeze caress your hand

The tempo soothes the mind

Freedom here throughout the land

Elsewhere you will not find

If only one could stay and rest

For ever and a day

And then perhaps to end our quest

In meadows where to lay

But hush my foolish heart be still

I do not know a place

Where love is all that’s left to fill

The days and nights apace.

I am a woman with a mission: to live life to the fullest. I will not let an itty, bitty incurable disease stop me. It may slow me down but like a ship dragging an anchor, I'll get there eventually. Walk with me at www.butterflysand.com
