The haunting cry of a dove
The whisper of the wind at dusk
Foam flecked waves crash ashore
Bright the moon that crests the sea
Images in the mind.
Fragrant meadows lie at rest
Gentle blossoms greet the dawn
Swaying breezes caress the trees
And the world that lives within
Images in time.
Flora and fauna bow to the rising sun
As the day beings its sleepy way
The world beings afresh
Washed clean by the morning dew
Images of peace.
Where no man has yet to walk
The gentle creatures live
Birth and death to each must come
As nature has its way
Images of life.
